That instant touchdown threat is something the Browns need to keep a close eye on in this game even with Cook listed as questionable on the injury report as he nurses an ankle injury. Injured or not, Cook can take it to the house and can be a big problem. Adam Thielen is a red zone threat in his own right. Cousins will be looking to hit him when they get into scoring position. The Browns will be without first round pick rookie Greg Newsome II in the defensive secondary which will give Greedy Williams an opportunity to prove to the team and fans that he s still got it. We ll be seeing a lot of Greedy and Troy Hill all day. Denzel Ward will have his hands full with Jefferson as well. Hopefully the Browns defensive line can put pressure on Cousins and create situations where he has to get rid of th ball quicker than he d like. Myles Garrett is coming off the best game of his career having logged 4.5 sacks against the Chicago Bears last week. The Vikings had a similar situation a few weeks ago when they faced Chandler Jones who had a bunch of sacks in the first game of the season then didn t get to Cousins at all when they faced the Vikings. The Browns offense is in a very good situation in terms of our strengths vs this Minnesota defense. The core strength of Chubb Hunt will be in full force as they look to take advantage of one of the worst statistical running defenses in the league. Baker Mayfield will once again be without veteran wide receiver Jarvis Landry as he s still out with the MCL sprain. The rest of the Browns receiving corps will need to continue stepping up in Landry s absence including super star Odell Beckham Jr, Donovan Peoples Jones, Hollywood Higgins, Anthony Schwartz and key utility man Demetric Felton. Look for Stefanski to also get the Browns talented Tight End unit involved with Austin Hooper, David Njoku and Harrison Bryant, all of which are off to solid starts to the NFL season. This game could be a shootout with both teams capable of putting up lots of points. I feel the Browns have an advantage with the strength of our offense vs the Vikings defense, however their offense is certainly capable and lead by pro bowl caliber talent. The Browns will certainly need to bring their A game as they hope to leave Minnesota with a win.
